Battenwear Travel Shell Parka in Woodland Camo. Reworked with a distinctive all over military inspired print pattern, this edition of the Battenwear Travel Shell Parka has been constructed with a shell made from a deadstock nylon cotton blend and a 100% cotton lining. Designed to be the only jacket you'll need for your next adventure, the front is fastened by a full length 2-way zip concealed by a branded snap button placket and above the attached hood has been constructed in panels with a curved peak for protection from light rainfall. Allowing you to adjust the fit to suit, the hood has an external leather pullcord and around the inside of the waist an additional cord has also been added. On the right side of the chest a curved flap secured patch pocket is available for storing essential items with larger variations below and on the left side a tilted welt pocket has a secure zip closure. Furthering this, on the inside of the parka two hidden pockets have also been added and on the reverse a larger compartment suited to storing a map encourages wear for a variety of activities. Allowing for movement the long sleeves have been designed with pleats and are complete with branded snap closure cuffs.

Looking at clothing originally worn by the American military during the 1960’s, this Battenwear Travel Shell Parka carries a rich history through the chosen fabric which was developed as a successor to 100% cotton to provide greater warmth in extreme weather conditions in the field. Constantly inspired by surfing and outdoor clothing from the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s as well as his own personal archive collection, Battenwear founder Shinya Hasegawa is passionate about creating purposeful, practical designs that appeal to adventurers living between the great outdoors and inner city environments.
